These pickups have a wonder vintage vibe going on. I wound these to capture the great S tones that keep flowing around in my head. From the great recordings I have always loved. I wanted to capture that Fire screaming S tone. The sweet watery crystal cleans. The bold in your face blues tones. And make sure they are consistent from one set to the other. Perfect magnet calibration to the ultimate layering of the magnet wire.

I held off on making a base model of S pickups for the longest time. I have always felt that single coils are a very personal pickup. that's why I only offered it on my Custom Tuned section. To discuss each one with my customer to make sure we nail it each time. Well, these are the best of the best from my Custom Tuned Designs. I am proud of these pickups.
