I have been making some “Proto 67-07″ Single Coil “Strat” pickups with some NOS 40 year 1967 42 AWG Wire. It is the original stuff. The few people that has tried them has stated, ”We have struck the single coil tonal bliss.” I am very excited about these! 

This wire is extremely stressful to work with. You don’t want to break wire 3000 winds in! Because that would be a lot vintage wire ($) to waste!

FYI, I do not ever join broken wire on any pickup I make!! If the wire breaks! I start over. So each “67-07″ pickup will be carefully wound to say the least…

I have decided to call the limited sets “67-07’s” to celebrate the 40 year anniversary of this wire. I was going to call the sets the “VWSC” but that name will be used on future limited sets.

The “67-07’s” will done in 3 different sets to choose from.

1.) “67-07L” Low Vintage Output

2.) “67-07M” Medium Vintage Output

3.) “67-07H” Hot Vintage Output

 

We will have more info on the actual specs when they are announce for sale.
