Well, we were just another band out of Boston
On the road to try to make ends meet
Playin’ all the bars, sleepin’ in our cars
And we practiced right on out in the street
No, we didn’t have much money
We barely made enough to survive
But when we got up on stage and got ready to play
People came alive…………..
Boston and especially Brad Delp was just one of many best things growing up in the 70’s and 80’s. I think back to being this little punk riding around in my buddy’s Firebird that he bought selling pot. Thinking how cool we are playing the crap out of Boston with his too cool, home brew car stereo that was so loud and just so awesome. Back then, Boston was a staple of American radio. It was great Rock N’ Roll! It is Rock N’ Roll! But to me, it was cool to have Boston be a part of the soundtrack to my life at that time. Rest in Peace Brad! And thank you for all the great music you left us…
May God Be with Brads family and friends during their time of sorrow.
